Areas of research interest:
- Use of mesenchymal stem cells in canine and feline regenerative medicine.
- Properties of ovarian granulosa cells and oviduct epithelial cells of the domestic pig during primary in vitro culture.
- The use of model animal cells (using the domestic pig) in translational research related to cardiovascular disease in humans.

- canine and feline general surgery
- minimally invasive surgery in dogs and cats
- endoscopy of small animals
- veterinary ophthalmology
